Meeting with the Canadian Space Agency

April 27, 2024

I don’t have words to express my gratitude to the Canadian Space Agency for inviting our team to visit the CSA headquarters.

We’re talking about 3 developers, 2 members of our board, 6 pharmacists, 3 intensivists, 1 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and 4 emergency doctors!

The intensity was palpable! We can’t wait to put EZResus in orbit. More to come soon!

As always, a special thanks to YOU for believing in our project from the start. We wouldn’t be there without your support.

Partnership with Mila

April 15, 2024

Congratulations to Dr. Frédéric Lemaire, who announced a partnership with Mila, the largest artificial intelligence research institution in Québec!

This partnership will support the development and deployment of AI in its application EZResus.

It will take the form of JARVIS, a resuscitation support tool able to instantaneously answer the logistical questions of people on the ground through a vocal interface.

This will lead to even efficiency in a context where every minute counts!

Deep Space Healthcare Challenge winner

February 28, 2024

The EZResus apphas won the Canadian Space Agency’s Deep Space Healthcare Challenge. The goal of the competition, judged by a panel of experts, was to develop new healthcare technologies for remote communities and crews on space missions.

The app they designed makes it easier to administer medication to all patients in emergency situations. EZResus tells doctors what equipment, dose, concentration and flow rate to use, and tailors the information to the patient’s specific characteristics.

Developed and used at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne for several years now, this revolutionary, multi-award-winning app is now being used by more than 5,000 doctors in 29 countries around the world. This award is proof that EZResus could even support medical emergencies in space!

“This is incredible news—a childhood dream come true! The recognition is wonderful, of course, but more than that, this is an amazing opportunity for us to keep perfecting the app and getting it out to as many communities as possible, and one day very soon, to the astronauts on space missions. What really matters at the end of the day is being able to save more lives during the first hour of resuscitation”, stresses Dr. Frédéric Lemaire.

Throughout this exciting adventure, Dr. Lemaire has always had the unwavering support of the Fondation Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.

You are the very heart driving the transformation of healthcare!

Mai 17, 2023

So many of you responded to my call last fall! Because of you, we’re continuing to develop our app to make resuscitation easier. I am so very grateful to you. You are the very heart driving the transformation of healthcare!

I’m even more grateful now that EZResus, the new version of EZDrips, is a finalist in the Canadian Space Agency’s Deep Space Healthcare Challenge. This is incredible news that I couldn’t wait to share with you!

I’m very happy to share this remarkable recognition with you! It’s because of you that we were able to continue developing the app. And you’ve been a partner since the very start. Thank you for having believed in my project that has been helping patients and healthcare workers at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne’s ER since day 1.

My appreciation is a testament to the crucial role you play when it’s time to invest in innovative pilot projects. Indeed, you’re a very precious ally in driving the development of our hospitals. And to improving the population’s access to health care.

Above all, this is an extraordinary opportunity for us to pursue our work in order to offer the best app possible and distribute it to as many communities as possible.

No one imagined that one day, the impact of EZDrips would extend so far beyond the walls of Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne!
