THANK YOU 200 000 times for the Generations Challenge!

I can only applaud the devotion and participation of the public, our partners and the Hospital’s employees once again this year. It’s tremendous to see everyone mobilized to offer access to better health care for patients at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.

Once again, words fail us in describing our emotion and gratitude. Thanks to your generosity, the participants in the Generations Challenge surpassed themselves, raising more than $200,000 for your Hospital!

Every donation collected helps patients and responds to the Hospital’s most pressing needs—whether that’s supporting mental health, specializing cancer care, improving the well-being of patients and medical staff, advancing research and teaching or modernizing the Hospital! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these extraordinary advances will contribute to improving the lives of all of our patients and their families.

Our 12-Hour Cycling Challenge – the very first energetic edition!
On November 12, 2024, the ambience was electrifying in the lobby of Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne during the 12-Hour Cycling Challenge! From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., several Hospital and Foundation employees pedalled with energy.

Each hour of pedalling was marked by smiles, encouragement and unfailing solidarity. A big thank you to all those who participated in this event, be it by pedalling, cheering or donating.

Congratulations to all of the Hospital’s teams who joined forces to take on this challenge—and accomplish it: the “Cycloscopistes” from endoscopy, the “Crinqués de l’urgence,” the “Labo de cardio/neuro” team, “SpeeDEAU Gonzales” from training, “Super Mario” and the “Philanthropes” from the Foundation.

Engaged businesses
In parallel with the 12-hour Cycling Challenge, a huge thank you to local businesses like the National Bank, Gestion immobilière BCL and Distech Controls who took up the corporate 9-to-5 Cycling Challenge.

Precious spokespersons at our side
A special tip of the hat to the involvement in the Generations Challenge of our wonderful spokespersons, who’ve been at our side for many years.

Josée Lavigueur

For her boundless energy, her participation as Generations Challenge ambassador and her presence during the National Bank Cycling Challenge. Thank you, Josée, for your involvement with the Foundation.

Josée Boudreault and Louis-Philippe Rivard

They are incredible! They took up their challenge with brio: over 100 training sessions between June 11 and September 28! Thank you for your participation and for successfully completing your personal challenge.

Dominic Arpin

For his participation, his endurance and his encouragement during our  12-Hour Cycling Challenge on September 12 at the Hospital! Thank you for your presence and your pedalling during our challenge.

Thank you to our partners and collaborators, the National Bank, Gravité and Chartwell, as well as to our sponsors, IGA St-Lambert, Pizza Salvatoré and Tim Hortons on Cousineau Boulevard.

Thank you also to all those who contributed to the success of the Generations Challenge through their generosity and participation!

Once again, thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at a future event!

Yes! I want to support the patients at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.
