The 2025 edition of The Philanthropists’ Wine Cellar, presented by Desjardins, concluded with exceptional generosity, elegance and heartfelt solidarity. Thanks to YOU, $260,000 was raised to transform the spaces within the Psychiatry Department at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne into environments that are calming, luminous and human for the patients cared for each day.
A closing night shaped by the invisible and the essential
The 2025 Paulée offered a unique experience: an intimate sound immersion inspired by the lived reality of Isabelle, a psychiatric patient at the Hospital, allowing guests to feel what it means to live with a mental health condition.

Guests then discovered a bright, refined and minimalist dining room, a powerful symbol of what philanthropic commitment makes possible:

Throughout a refined menu crafted by chef Jean-Sébastien Giguère of restaurant h3 and guided by sommelier Élyse Lambert, guests shared their grand crus, their stories and a shared vision: offering support for mental health.

Psychological distress is now one of the most pressing health issues of our time. Since the pandemic, mental health-related consultations have surged by 30% in hospitals across Quebec. At Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne, this reality is reflected in increasingly overwhelmed emergency rooms and a growing need for psychiatric support.
Panic attacks, depressive episodes, suicidal thoughts — mental health conditions are now among the leading causes of hospitalization.
