Take up a challenge that reflects who you are, alone or in a team and raise funds. Be creative. The sky’s the limit!
I can only applaud the devotion and participation of the public, our partners and the Hospital’s employees once again this year. It’s tremendous to see everyone mobilized to offer access to better health care for patients at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.
Nathalie Boudreau,
President and Executive Director of the Foundation
Once again, words fail us in describing our emotion and gratitude. Thanks to your generosity, the participants in the Generations Challenge surpassed themselves, raising more than $200,000 for your Hospital!
Every donation collected helps patients and responds to the Hospital’s most pressing needs—whether that’s supporting mental health, specializing cancer care, improving the well-being of patients and medical staff, advancing research and teaching or modernizing the Hospital! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these extraordinary advances will contribute to improving the lives of all of our patients and their families.
Thank you to our partners and collaborators, the National Bank, Gravité and Chartwell, as well as to our sponsors, IGA St-Lambert, Pizza Salvatoré and Tim Hortons on Cousineau Boulevard.
Thank you also to all those who contributed to the success of the Generations Challenge through their generosity and participation! We look forward to seeing you at a future event!
Revisit in images some of the moments during the Generations Challenge 2024!
This summer, we’re pushing our limits for Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne and its patients!
Different ways to participate this year:
Create your team or join the Foundation team and come take turns pedalling with us in the entrance hall of Charles-Le Moyne Hospital on September 12 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Rally your colleagues and take turns pedalling from 9 to 5 on your stationary bicycles one day this summer, in support of the health of your community. The perfect team-building activity for your teams!
A challenge that reflects who you are. Alone, as a family, among friends or colleagues. Be creative! The sky’s the limit! Visit this page for some inspiring ideas.
You have until September 28 to meet your challenge and raise funds.
So, what will your challenge be?
Right now, we’re facing unprecedented constraints in the healthcare system.
Fewer staff, fewer beds, less operating time. Everywhere, waiting lists are growing longer. For patients waiting for surgery, for worried families, for our exhausted health workers, YOUR generosity makes all the difference.
Through your actions, you’re offering quality, safe and cutting-edge healthcare to patients and their families in your hospitals! From infancy to end-of-life, adolescence to adulthood. You’re there for them, from beginning to end, in times of joy and moments of pain, for minor injuries and life-changing events.
To share your challenge, stay connected with your team members, keep motivated and track fundraising results, like our Facebook page!
You’d like to make a difference in your community and you’ve decided to support your Hospital? Fantastic! Now, you’re ready to take your second step: choose a challenge. But there’s a hitch: you can’t come up with any ideas… No problem! We have all kinds of suggestions. One of them is sure to be THE challenge that reflects who you are.
What makes a good challenge ?
Let’s be clear: you do NOT have to run a marathon to join the Generations Challenge. Sure, people who can do that kind of thing are impressive! But there are tons of other ways to push your limits, whether you’re athletic or not.
You can choose a challenge that allows you to discover new things that you enjoy, to adopt new habits, to gather friends and family around a common goal… The most important thing is to have fun, to choose something that you enjoy and that’s realistic! By choosing a challenge that corresponds to your objectives, you’ll have a better chance of successfully completing it with a sense of pride!
Anyone can join the Generations Challenge, so team up with your children, your parents or your grandparents, and dive right in! Don’t hesitate to organize your own fundraising event in your hospital department, your child’s school, your business, your sports team, your store… Together, we can build a HEALTHY health system!
