Imagine for a minute that a simple little thing you do each day becomes a huge challenge. What was once routine and effortless becomes a source of embarrassment and pain. Something banal now requires regular medical treatment to be able to do it.

For hundreds of people, primarily elderly men, this situation is a daily reality. They suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia. They live in wait for the surgery that could make all the difference. That could restore their quality of life. But this waiting can drag on for months. Months of pain, worry and, possibly, complications.

Thanks to your past generosity, we were able to get a leading-edge medical laser. Thank you so much. But to put it to optimal use, we need to combine it with a morcellator, a vital tool for treating enlarged prostates. Will you help us buy one?

The morcellator cuts the prostate tissue into small pieces, enabling minimally invasive, same-day surgeries. This does not only reduce the risk of bleeding and speed up patient recovery but this also lowers costs for the hospital.

YOU’LL BE HELPING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE—OFTEN ELDERLY AND VULNERABLE.

YOU’LL BE SPARING THEM LONG PAINFUL TRIPS OR LENGTHY WAIT TIMES.

YOU’LL OFFER THEM THE CARE THEY NEED, CLOSE TO HOME.

With your help, our Hospital will become the first in the Montérégie to offer this critical treatment recommended by scientific authorities. And other hospitals in the region will be able to refer their patients to us.

Will you help us seize this opportunity for our patients before December 31?

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your support. Thanks to your compassion, hundreds of patients will be able to regain their dignity and autonomy that much sooner.
