Committed volunteer and generous donor

There are people who embody, with strength and humility, what it means to be committed to their community. Marc-André Hinse is one of them. Through his personal and professional involvement, he has been making a real difference for nearly 10 years at the Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne.

Marc-André is a child of the South Shore. Born in Brossard, he developed a strong sense of belonging to his community at an early age. For him, getting involved locally is a natural responsibility to the neighbourhood where he grew up.

Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne is an integral part of his family history. His father, mother, and spouse have all received care there. These were significant, sometimes difficult moments that anchored the hospital in his personal life.

Unfortunately, the hospital is too often present... but it's an intimate part of my life.

When his career led him to take on management positions in the banking industry, Marc-André felt the need to give back to the community where he still lives today. His involvement with the Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne was a natural fit. He joined the board of directors, convinced that putting his expertise to work for the Foundation could help advance its mission.

His commitment doesn’t stop there. Under his leadership as executive director and team leader, CIBC recently made a major donation for the acquisition of the Da Vinci surgical robot, a technology that is transforming specialized cancer care at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne. It’s a powerful gesture with a significant impact.

Today's donation is a way of reaffirming our commitment.

For him, this gesture is a concrete way to improve access to cutting-edge care right here on the South Shore.

Today, Marc-André continues to be involved because he deeply believes that Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne is an essential pillar for the South Shore. His journey reminds us that philanthropic commitment can take many forms: giving, getting involved, putting your skills to work for a cause.

At some point, you have to dare to get involved. Meet with the Foundation to see how you can contribute, because we need everyone.

Marc-André Hinse embodies a vibrant and committed philanthropy. Thanks to him and valuable, committed partners such as CIBC, the Foundation can continue to aim higher to offer more to Your Hospital. innovation. expertise. care, right here in Montérégie.

Yes! I want to support the patients at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.
