The well-being of patients and their loved ones has been our top priority for 60 years. Each year, each health reform, each transformation is a fantastic opportunity to respond to health challenges.
Today, the health and social services system is at a crossroads. Our goal? To support Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne so that it can be an inspiring model in the transformation of health care across Québec.
Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne’s new Strategic Plan 2024-2027 lays the groundwork for this. With you by our side, we’re convinced we can achieve our goal.
The years to come will be filled with wonderful projects! Projects to support mental health, to specialize cancer care, to increase the well-being of patients and medical staff, to promote research and teaching and to modernize Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne. All extraordinary advances that will contribute to improving people’s lives!
Any contribution to Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne is an investment. An investment in the health of patients, today and tomorrow. An investment in the health of the community.
Teaming up with you through the Foundation is a privilege. It allows us to have a vision for your Hospital—for the benefit of all.
Thank you so much,
Nathalie Boudreau

Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne
By giving, you’re providing support to thousands of patients, families and health care workers at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne.
Once again this year, you helped make our signature events really stand out. Whether it was taking up a challenge, sharing fine wines, participating in the lottery or joining us on one of the most prestigious gulf courses. Medical teams, patients and their families are privileged to be able to count on you.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all those who made it possible to do for Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne and its patients.
The health network underwent some major changes this year. I truly salute this initiative by several hospital foundations across the province. It’s fantastic to see everyone mobilizing to offer the best health care in Québec.
Christian Dubé, Minister of Health
There are no words to describe our emotion and gratitude. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $200,000 during Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne’s Generations Challenge.
From June to September, the entire province mobilized to respond to the most pressing needs of its hospitals and raised more than $700,000! Thousands of you, as participants or donors, contributed to this success. THANK YOU so much!
Thank you to our provincial media partner, Québecor, to our local presenter, RONA, and to our local collaborators: Gravité and Chartwell Retirement Residences.
The Generations Challenge, an initiative of Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne, is an unprecedented solidarity movement. In 2023, sixteen hospital foundations came together around a common mission: to increase their leverage for greater impact and a stronger health network.
Convinced that hospital foundations are essential government allies in improving access to care by offering more research and innovation, and greater patient well-being, they published this opinion piece.
Thank you for offering an opportunity like Horizon 4 Saisons to our young people. They’re in a state of distress that we cannot even imagine. You’re changing their lives!
Bianka, mother of Élodie, participant in the program
Thank you so much for participating in the Philanthropists’ Wine Cellar presented by Desjardins.
With your participation in the Philanthropists’ Wine Cellar, including our online prestige wine auction and the La Paulée evening, we raised an extraordinary $255,000! The proceeds from the event went to Horizon 4 Saisons, a therapeutic intervention program for teens who respond less well to traditional therapies.
Your contributions are more than simple donations. By participating, you sent a clear message of empathy and encouragement to teens who are struggling with mental health problems. Young people who could be our children, our brothers, our sisters, our friends.
Thank you to all our generous donors of fine wines, to our presenter, Desjardins, and to our partner, Alfred. And a tip of the hat to Élyse Lambert, internationally renowned sommelier, for her exceptional involvement!
See you next year.
La Paulée is a finalist for the second year in a row for the Canadian Event Awards’ Best Small-Scale Fundraising Event.
Before, we only had 6 vital signs monitors. Now, thanks to you, we have 48! That’s one per patient. Thank you! You are our strength!
Éric Lebreux, Chief of the Surgical Unit at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne
1,000 tickets sold and $175,000 raised! By purchasing a Liberty Lotto ticket, you had an impact on the daily lives of care staff and the lives of patients.
Your generous support translated into the purchase of 48 vital signs monitors for patients hospitalized in the Surgical Unit. You improved patients’ clinical monitoring. You reduced the risk of infection. And you optimized precious time for health workers.
Put simply—and very sincerely—THANK YOU all for your generosity. And thank you, volunteer ambassadors, for your time selling lotto tickets. You are exceptional.
My wife had oesophageal cancer 6 years ago. And I’ve had my own stints at hospitals. I’m well-placed to know that hospital foundations play a crucial role for patients.
Serge Savard, Honorary President
Thank you for being among the partners who share our values and hold dear the goal of building a stronger health network. With your participation, the Serge-Lemieux Golf Classic presented by RBC was a smashing success. We raised $428,000!
More than 180 guests joined us. Employees from large companies, several family entrepreneurs… A room filled with leaders, people who are bold, determined, persevering, creative. It was really touching! A special thank you to our honorary president, Serge Savard, who was joined by his friends: Michel Beaudry, Michel Bergeron, Benoit Brunet, Jocelyne Cazin, Alain Chantelois, Alain Choquette, Martin Cloutier, Gilbert Delorme, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Steven Finn, Ron Fournier, Pierre Gervais, Pierre Jarry, Michel Lacroix, Yvon Lambert, Mario Langlois, Normand Laprise, Pierre Mondou, Denis Morel, Stéphane Quintal, Charles-Antoine Sinotte and Stéphane Waite. What a melange of success and kind-heartedness!
You took action because you know how important it is for patients to have access to quality, safe and leading-edge care. Once again, THANK YOU for your support and compassion!
Revisit the wonderful memories in photos!
Thank you to our presenter, RBC Royal Bank, and our sponsors: Aera Habitations Saint-Hilaire, AI Développement Immobilier, Desjardins, FNX Innov, Gestion Rodier, Maçonnerie Rainville et Frères. And to our generous live auction partners: Desjardins, the Lise and Richard Fortin Foundation, GDI, Luc Poirier, RBC Royal Bank, Serge Savard and Michel Théroux, as well as to all of our silent auction partners.

Important message:
Due to a nationwide Canada Post strike, delays are expected for donations sent by mail. Every donation counts as this year draws to a close. Thank you!
