Choosing monthly giving is a statement of your commitment to the health of your family, your friends, your colleagues, your neighbours, YOUR community.
It’s a practical solution with several benefits for you:
And for us! It’s a stable source of funding that allows us to better plan, respond to the Hospital’s urgent needs and reduce administrative costs.
Your donations allow us to respond to your Hospital’s most pressing needs. Your monthly donation can make a difference in so many ways!
A group activity to young adults dealing with mental health problems.
One hour of massage therapy to a hospitalized cancer patient.
A care kit (blanket, cream, gel…) to 12 new patients per year undergoing chemotherapy.
An annual visit of two therapeutic clowns to patients in pediatrics.
A stay in a specialized camp for a young person suffering from mental health problems.
So many gestures that warm the hearts of patients, their families and staff at the Hospital.
Dr. Sophie Gosselin joined Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne’s Emergency medical team in February 2018, after more than 15 years at the MUHC, where the philanthropic spirit of the Anglophone community has deep roots.
So, it was natural for her to get involved with her new Hospital’s Foundation, in a gesture of gratitude for the institution that was giving her a place to practise her profession. Since October 2021, she has been participating in the monthly giving program.
Michèle Ferland and Jean-Pierre Fortin became monthly donors after Michèle was diagnosed with breast cancer. Grateful for the care they received, they opted for the monthly donation to establish a permanent connection with their hospital.
