It’s that time of year when Opération Enfant Soleil allocates funding—and it’s good news for Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne! The Hospital will be receiving a total contribution of $42,209 to offer the best care available to hospitalized children.
With this generous donation, Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne will be able to purchase cardiorespiratory monitors, a pediatric crash cart, a reclining chair and a vital signs monitor.
Opération Enfant Soleil is providing $37,574$ for these purchases, while the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux is contributing an additional $29,704 from a fund to maintain and repatriate newborns to the region.
Opération Enfant Soleil also allocated $4,635 for the purchase of therapeutic equipment for the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit of Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne. To date, Opération Enfant Soleil has contributed $385,579 to the unit.
What a wonderful partnership in support of pediatric services at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne! These purchases will, without a doubt, improve the follow-up and comfort of our young patients. Thank you, Opération Enfant Soleil, for working so tirelessly to offer them better health care, close to home.

The CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre is very grateful for this generosity that is renewed year after year.
Opération Enfant Soleil allows us to acquire new, cutting-edge pediatric equipment. This is precious because it’s concrete support for the work of our care teams, who see to the health and well-being of children each and every day. We have at heart the quality of care and pediatric services offered to families in our region. Again this year we wish to thank Opération Enfant Soleil and highlight the positive spinoffs of their commitment to our communities.
