It all happened so quickly, filled with worry, urgency and uncertainty. With their tiny baby struggling to breathe and surrounded by medical teams, his parents had to decide which one of them would stay at the Hospital while the other went home alone, carrying a heavy heart and a mind full of worry.<br><br>After Jacob\u2019s first night in Hospital, his parents thought they might finally be able to breathe again and bring him home. But that hope quickly turned to anxiety when they received a call explaining that the treatment was not working because bacteria had been found in his blood. They had to return to the Hospital for another night of observation, once again facing uncertainty and emotional exhaustion.<br><br>Thankfully, <strong>the new pediatric day centre<\/strong> made it possible for Jacob to continue receiving treatment and follow-up care without a prolonged Hospital stay. He came back once a day for seven days for his injection. Each return home became a precious moment: <strong>being back in his own bed, in familiar surroundings, in the quiet of home and, above all, together as a family.<\/strong><br><br>For his parents, having this option made all the difference.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a8629be e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"a8629be\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2510417 elementor-blockquote--skin-quotation quote-orange elementor-widget elementor-widget-blockquote\" data-id=\"2510417\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"elementor-blockquote\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-blockquote__content\">\n\t\t\t\tBeing able to come home quickly, sleep in our own home and hold on to a little bit of our family life despite the treatments brought us enormous relief. The day centre allowed us to get through this difficult time together as a family, with <i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fhclm fhclm-plus\"><\/i> comfort and reassurance.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-q-footer\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<cite class=\"elementor-blockquote__author\">Val\u00e9rie<\/cite>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-85a6d59 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"85a6d59\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Today, the family understands just how much access to pediatric care close to home can truly make a difference. For them, the day centre is <i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fhclm fhclm-plus\"><\/i> than a place for treatment.
