The ambulance has just left. At the Hospital, Val\u00e9rie stays with Jacob, her 10-month-old baby. At home, her partner waits. One night apart. One night too many.<\/p>\n

The next day, another option presents itself. Referred to the pediatric day centre at H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne, the family avoids full hospitalization.<\/p>\n

Treatment continues, but differently. Together, they go there each day\u2026 and return home every evening.<\/p>\n

A reality now made possible thanks to you \u2014 and one that changes everything.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the new pediatric day centre, located on the ground floor of the Hospital, children receive care differently. In a space designed for them. <\/i> intimate. <\/i> warm. Designed to reassure both children and their parents.<\/p>\n

Children often arrive after a visit to the emergency room, a Hospital stay, or a referral from their physician. The teams take over to provide the necessary care, without prolonging the stay at the Hospital.<\/p>\n

Every day, they come in for treatment\u2026 then return home. Back to their families, their rooms, their familiar surroundings.<\/p>\n

In moments when worry takes over, this proximity changes everything. It lightens the daily load, reduces anxiety, and gives families room to breathe.<\/p>\n

The quality of care remains the same. But the experience is <\/i>\u00a0gentle, <\/i>\u00a0human, without hospitalization.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The pediatric day centre allows children to receive treatment, assessments, and support during the day, without hospitalization. They come for care, follow-ups, or procedures\u2026 and go home in the evening. In a space designed at their scale \u2014 colorful, reassuring \u2014 everything is created to reduce stress and support well-being.<\/p>\n

Each year, nearly 4,500 children can be cared for here, in Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie, closer to their families, in a <\/i> gentle and <\/i> human environment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
