It may seem trivial, but it\u2019s a sign that Vincent is in good health. That he\u2019s able to function 16 months after he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He has multiform glioblastoma to be precise. And it\u2019s very rare for someone with GBM and who\u2019s been operated on twice to be able to drive\u2026    <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s no small feat. Especially when the average survival rate for patients is 14 months if they have the surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy combined. And only a few months if nothing is done. Unfortunately, it\u2019s a very aggressive tumour that comes back.   <\/p>\n<p>It all happened very quickly\u2026 First symptoms in October 2021. The cancer diagnosis. In December, Vincent had a craniotomy\u2014surgery to open the skull and remove the tumour. Followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy. The tumour returned. In July, Vincent had surgery again\u2014this time with the new neurosurgical laser financed entirely by your donations.     <\/p>\n<p>Since then, Vincent has continued his chemotherapy. His condition is stable.
