That\u2019s it! The new site at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke was inaugurated by representatives of the Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9, right across from H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne!<\/p>\n

And the high-fidelity simulation room so generously funded by Louise and Denis S. Arcand\u2014and boasting some of the most modern high-tech equipment in Qu\u00e9bec\u2014is now up and running! It already received its first 24 students on March 6.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We will never be able to express just how grateful we are to our generous donors. Louise and Denis S. Arcand made a $2 million donation, the largest private donation ever received by the Foundation, through a gift of their RIFF<\/a>. An extraordinary legacy for generations of future physicians!<\/p>\n

The generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Arcand in supporting the training of future doctors will forever mark the history of H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne.<\/p>\n

This donation has funded the construction of a high-fidelity simulation room at the new Jean-Marc Lepage pavilion on Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke\u2019s medical campus, right across from H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne. The new pavilion welcomed its first 24 students in March 2023. It will accommodate a hundred students each year.<\/p>\n

The generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Arcand in supporting the training of future doctors will forever mark the history of H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne. This is the largest private donation the Hospital has ever received. As a tribute to our generous philanthropists, the simulation room has been named \u201cSalle Denis S. et Louise Arcand.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
