This is wonderful news! This project of over $400 million includes an expansion to accommodate:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an operating theatre with 15 rooms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an intensive care unit with 30 beds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a brief hospitalization unit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a brief intervention unit in mental health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, your generosity will allow cancer patients to receive a more precise diagnosis and more effective treatment! Thanks to past donations of $1.2 million, the Hospital will be able to purchase and instal a positron emission tomography (PET) machine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PET machine resembles an X-ray scanner, with a large opening. It is used primarily in oncology to detect cancerous tumours and monitor their evolution.
