What a remarkable display of generosity.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On June 1, the Serge-Lemieux Golf Classic,<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0presented by RBC<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, brought together 144 golfers, along with\u00a0numerous\u00a0partners, sponsors,\u00a0donors\u00a0and ambassadors at Pinegrove Golf Club.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Thanks to this incredible outpouring of generosity,\u00a0nearly $450,000\u00a0was raised during the event, setting a new fundraising record for the Classic.<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The evening then delivered a moment that was as unexpected as it was inspiring. Moved by the enthusiasm of participants and the overwhelming support for the cause, a generous donor couple attending the event announced that they would match the total proceeds raised through the auctions, powered by Groupe HD.\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This extraordinary gesture helped bring the event&#8217;s final total to more than $725,000.<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When a community comes together behind a common cause,\u00a0great things\u00a0can happen. This year&#8217;s Classic is proof of that.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Thanks to this collective generosity, funding for the Da Vinci surgical robot is now complete.<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Beyond the dollars raised, it was the energy of the day that left\u00a0a lasting impression.
