Staff shortages. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fewer beds. Less surgery time. Everywhere, waiting lists are growing longer.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why, today, I\u2019m asking you to help! We need specialized equipment more than ever.  <strong>Can you help us buy a neuronavigation device, used for sinus surgery?<\/strong> Why? <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To reduce surgery times, hospitalizations and risks<\/span>.  We could operate on more patients in a day!<\/p>\n<p>The greatest risk of proceeding without a neuronavigator? Incomplete surgeries. The other day, I was performing surgery on a patient named Lise for a tumour. She has unusual sinus anatomy. It took three surgeries to completely remove the tumour.    <\/p>\n<p><strong>Your gift today will help us give our patients the right care at the right time at their local hospital<\/strong>. Thanks to your generosity, we\u2019ll be the only hospital in the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie to have this equipment. We won\u2019t have to refer our patients elsewhere.  <\/p>\n<p>Right now, I\u2019m seeing many patients who haven\u2019t consulted in a long time. They have more advanced, more serious, more aggressive diseases, sinus infections, tumours. This requires more complex surgeries like for Lise. They need help and they\u2019re waiting!   <\/p>\n<p>We need more advanced equipment. Unfortunately, this equipment is very expensive.
